This policy explains what LocalePilot collects, why, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It applies to https://localepilot.techoo.in and the LocalePilot application.
To provide the service you signed up for: importing strings, producing translations, opening pull requests, maintaining your credit balance, and keeping the account secure. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your repository content or your translations to train our own models.
We rely on the following sub-processors, each for a single purpose:
Traffic runs over HTTPS. Your Bitbucket access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM using a key held outside the database, so a database dump alone does not expose them. Workspace data is isolated at the database level, so one workspace cannot read another's rows. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
Project data — imported strings, translations, glossary terms and history — is kept for as long as the project exists. Deleting a project removes its data. Opening a pull request does not delete anything: the translated content stays in your workspace so you can re-export or reuse it later.
Account data is kept until you ask us to delete the account. Payment and invoice records are retained for as long as applicable Indian tax and accounting law requires, even after an account is closed.
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it. You can delete any project yourself from inside the product. For full account deletion, email kashyapbhatt7193@gmail.com and we will erase your account and its workspace data within 30 days, apart from records we are legally required to keep.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, our Grievance Officer is Kashyap Bhatt, reachable at kashyapbhatt7193@gmail.com. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the rights granted by the GDPR, including the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.
LocalePilot is a developer tool and is not directed at anyone under 18.
If this policy changes materially, we will update the effective date above and notify account holders by email.
