Terms of Service

1. Who you are contracting with

The service is operated by Kashyap Bhatt (Sole Proprietor), trading as LocalePilot, Electronic City, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. By creating an account or using LocalePilot you agree to these terms.

2. The service

LocalePilot imports localization files from a repository you connect, produces machine translations, and opens pull requests back to that repository. It is offered on an as-is basis. Machine translation is imperfect: you are responsible for reviewing translations before merging them.

3. Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. One person or organisation per account. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been accessed without permission.

4. Your content

You keep all rights to the code, strings and translations you bring to or create with LocalePilot. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: storing that content, sending source strings to our translation provider, and writing translations back to the repository you have connected. You confirm you have the right to grant that permission for the repositories you connect.

5. Credits and payment

Translation work consumes credits. Credits are bought in packs, priced on the Pricing page, and are added to your workspace on successful payment. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred between workspaces, and do not expire while your account is open. Prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Refunds are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, provider outages and failures of Bitbucket, Google, Razorpay or our translation provider can interrupt it.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time and request account deletion. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or is used unlawfully. Unused credits in an account closed for breach are not refunded.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or damage caused by a translation you merged without review.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email to account holders, and the effective date above will change.
